About the Client
LabMonkeys.net is an up-and-coming web community for lab managers in I.T. departments all over the world. Their aim is to support discussion about ideas, announcements, frustrations and successes in higher education computing.
The Challenge
Building a new community from the ground up is no easy task. With thousands of websites all vying for attention it is becoming increasingly difficult to get viewers.
Our Solution
LabMonkeys.net has contracted with Star Moose for site management, illustrations, WordPress theme modifications, online promotion, video, and other services. Our in-house design team produces graphics and custom illustrations for articles on the site and produces a LabMonkeys comic strip for them.
Illustrator Jen Lee has produced over 60 custom illustrations for the site, which gives it a unique feel and identity. The site is less than a year old but boasts a dedicated following that is increasing every month.
